Description: ProBEND (US Patent #6,561,797) has been designed to heat PVC piping so that it can be bent and formed to the requirements of the jobsite. It can be used to make any variety of kicks, offsets, elbows, etc. in a manner that has not been seen before. ProBEND is the most efficient and effective tool available to heat and bend PVC. ProBEND has been field tested and proven to save you labor and money.

ProBEND offers contractors THREE (3) significant advantages over electric benders:

PORTABLE: ProBEND uses liquid propane (LP) gas as its power source. This is the same LP Gas used in gas grills and other jobsite equipment. A single gas tank (not included) is attached to the ProBEND via a 5’ connection hose with an inline regulator assembly. Therefore, ProBEND can be taken and used almost anywhere it is needed*. No longer is electricity needed to bend PVC. Gone are the days of using long extension cords which present trip hazards and result in voltage drop and long heating times. All that is needed is a common LP gas tank (same one used on gas grills) and you are ready to bend PVC pipe faster than ever before!

FAST HEATING WITHOUT WARM-UP : As a result of using LP gas, ProBEND is able to heat PVC two to three times faster than using outdated electrical benders, REGARDLESS OF OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE. ProBEND produces high heat (32,000Btus) from a specially designed burner. Additionally, heat is directed to BOTH sidewalls of the PVC piping by a specially designed heat direction plate. This combination allows you to make more bends in a shorter period of time. That means less labor and increased efficiency for your crew!

EFFICIENT: Combining the heating benefits of gas with an efficient and safe tool design allows the ProBEND to heat PVC piping of all sizes. The ProBEND can easily and quickly bend 1/2" to 4 " PVC (Schedule 20/40/80). It is recommended that operators use PVC end plugs when heating pipe larger than 2.5".
